Here's a couple good ones (well they're all good but I can't be going around posting every Death Cab track ever can I?)

Well, if you wanna get nitpicky, the song first appeared on "This Perfect World," Freedy Johnston's LP that appeared about a year before the OST for Kicking & Screaming. Plus, that's probably a little easier to find than the soundtrack (the whole album is good, too).

But don't ask me... I'M JUST HERE FOR THE POODLES!

'Start Again' is a cover of a Teenage Fanclub song. They are probably the best pop band in the world and hail from Glasgow, Scotland. They have five or six LPs out and i thorougly recomment every single one of them.
