Classic Albums #3 - Who's Next

By 1971, The Who had already established themselves as one of the best bands in the world, but it was this album that made them one of the best bands ever. The Who had just come off of their very successful concept album, Tommy, and were planning on doing a space-age rock opera experiment. What transpired ended up being an up-front rock and roll album that shot the band into the stratosphere.

This is also the album that proved how much synthesizers can rock, they're used in some form in nearly every track. About half the songs on the album became huge hits (two of them are used on CSI shows), but here's a couple you might not have heard:

MP3 The Who - My Wife
MP3 The Who - Getting in Tune

Past Classic Albums:
#1 - Pet Sounds
#2 - Hunky Dory

I assume you're referring to "Who Are You?" which is on, um Who Are You (1978).
I was actually referring to:
CSI Miami : Won't Get Fooled Again
CSI New York : Baba O'Riley

Agreed, this is their breakout album, but Quadrophenia is their highpoint amongst hardcore fans.
